Be Positive Amigos (BPA) is a charitable organisation which aims to give the fast-growing Portuguese-speaking communities of Leicester a place where they can receive specific and appropriate help in situations where there are language and cultural barriers, something the local council or any other organisation does not currently provide. We assist and facilitate integration of Portuguese communities

How we help
At Bepositive Amigo, our mission is to build public and institutional support for Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals, asylum seekers, and migrants impacted by mental health issues in the UK. We advocate for fair treatment and provide a wide range of services, including advice, advocacy, and support, aimed at uplifting our beneficiaries. Our goal is to foster positive social change and strengthen our reputation as a trusted provider of holistic support.
Community Events
We hold regular events to help raise awareness of the social needs of Portuguese in Leicester.
Temporary Accommodation
We offer our service users interim, short-term accommodation until a long-term solution can be found.
Floating Support
We offer support to help people tackle issues such as rent arrears, benefits issues, and social isolation.
Form Filling
We understand that people often need help with filling out forms and paperwork. We are here to help.
