Bepositive Amigos works in communities in Leicestershire providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing and enhancing opportunity for thousands of people across the county. Our diverse and flexible services tackle a wide range of needs and include specialist support for particularly vulnerable groups.
Tenancy support
Supporting vulnerable people to maintain their own tenancies is a key factor in preventing homelessness.
Many of the young people we work with have not had the best start in life. We build trust and confidence to help young people take control of their futures.
For many clients, a home and a job are the ultimate goal. We provide specialist support to help people find employment and to move into and maintain private sector tenancies.
People seeking asylum are excluded from claiming normal UK welfare benefits and most asylum seekers are not allowed to work. Asylum seekers who cannot find support “disappear” through the cracks and are left destitute. We aim to provide people in the asylum process practical and emotional support.
Academic Support
The BPA Project provides help and advice to asylum seekers and refugees who wish to access university education. Our project supports you to find appropriate training and education opportunities.

We offer one-to-one support to BPA members to find solutions to the problems affecting their daily lives. We do not have an appointment system so to access our services you can drop in from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
